Crowds, Lines and Naps

He even took a selfie of himself!

So boys how did you like this excursion.... the smiles says it all! It got rave reviews.

aww so breath taking.. I wanna go back.

Everyone was in a great mood going back... see told ya the rum punch was GOOD!

Taxi's back were few and far between. So we started walking as a group. Then flagged a taxi down, where we crammed in like sardines. Which made for fun times and lots of laughter... except for E.. who was worried that we wouldnt get to shop soon and he would miss out on an Aruba tshirt.

No worries, we made it back to the main shopping area, where he went into what seems like EVERY SINGLE STORE. Until he found the PERFECT ONE. At one point he just took off leaving the boys and I on a bench.

We people watched for a while. then we did some shopping ourselves. Eventually E found 2 shirts (seriously this man is going to need a closet just for his vacation shirts soon) and met back up with us.

It was really hot out so I stopped in a lil bar and got the boys sodas and beers for E and I.

We walked back to the pier enjoying our time and people watching, he's not the Dos XX man, but he's cute enough to be the face of Balashi!

Then we saw a Mojito stand, low and behold they had all the flavors still. So I got a strawberry, or watermelon, or rasberry.. something red LOL Which yes P got a sip... then momma took it over. But momma should have stopped at the beer, and remembered she's not as young as she used to be.

We kept walked and bumping into "friends" along the way. Everyones so friendly on vacation. Going back to the ships you walk thru their shopping area. I thought I took pics but nada. I think I was enjoying the mojito.

Seeing the ship from our long walk back (ok it wasnt that long) was happy joy.

Until we noticed how long the line was to get back on ship. Yup, Im feeling GREAT here... for now...

Good thing I had a beverage to keep me cool while we walked to get on board.

Its like doing the walk of shame, no shame just took forever, since they only had 1 door open.

Back on board I had gotten parched again so while the boys showered, I popped open a beer. With plenty of time to wait for RUNNERS.. my favorite pastime.

Except, after showering and changing... I remember thinking man that bed looks so comfy. Thats all I remember. The boys said I passed out, seee Rum Punch good! Mojito, good! Beers GOOD!! Mom OLD! lol.

Of all people E stayed out on the balcony to take pics of us leaving. He rarely takes pics, unless its of his truck or the Dallas Cowboys (EWWW, PUKE LOL)

But I have to say he did good this time.

I was (and still am) so sad to have missed sailaway from our last port. But I guess early mornings, mixed with lots of rum, swimming and sun make a gal tired.

I woke up a bit later, to find the boys were leaving us again. So E and I grabbed another beer and went exploring before dinner. All week he had saw this pic of his "american girl" so finally I said stand by your lady and got a pic of him with her.

Of course we had to get the obligitory Frog Wanted pic taken.

Thinking this would make good xmas pics LOL.

He's like a kid at times, but instead of the kid saying look at me, watch me. He says take a pic of me, take a pic of that.

With time to still waste, I talked E into taking a cheesy couple of pics.

Told you they were cheesy

Then all of a sudden J runs into our pics.

He was on his way to meet up with friends. This would have been a great one had P been around.

I couldnt help but have us take a pic with this background and our beverages.

I wanted to try and get our picture on the wall of fame (plus it would be free). I tried to take one with my phone but the photographer said no.... (really did he think I was going to buy this??)

But he let J do a selfie. (see this is why they need to allow all photo's on a CD. No one in their right mind will buy a picture of this. I mean I love J and all but not enough to spend $20 on a pic of him taking a selfie LOL)

After this picture, J ditched us and we headed to dinner. While waiting for the doors to open we bumped into our friends from Curacuo. They asked where the boys were and we told them we were on our own again. They were getting ready to eat also as they were on the lower level of the dinning room. So we asked if they would like to join us.

It then became a double date!

I had been looking forward to dinner tonight as it had my favorite appitizer...

no this part of the menu isnt my favorite lol.... wait for it...

wait for it ... (this was just E taking a picture of the bread plate, ok he also takes pics of anything Texas related as thats where he's from.)

Nope not my favorite but it sounded good so I got the meatballs.

Escargots!!!!!!! Yup I ordered 2. When they changed to the American menu, I was worried they wouldnt have it. As its the one food I look forward to on a cruise.

E of course had the Cesar salad.

our favorite waiter came by with shots... I cant remember what they were this time... but we got 2.

Cheers?

To new friends! Miss ya!

Dessert time!

I had the Chocolate Panna Cotta... yummy.

and you know E.... WCMC

When dinner was over we all walked over to the theater to catch the variety show. It was semi funny but enjoyable to watch.

When that was over we went to the Comedy Show (So to the back of the ship for dinner, to the front for the show, and again to the back for the comedy show.. talk about getting your steps in). I ordered a limelight special YUM. We took seats almost behind the stage since it was packed, good thing there is a TV to the right to semi watch expressions of the comedians.. They really need to move the comedy show into the larger theater. Seeing as how it is always packed, and the main theater... isnt!

After lots of belly aching laughter, we parted ways and headed to bed. Well the room since I was on wait till the boys get home duty.Seeing as we had a sea day tmrw, they had an even later curfew.... which meant I got to stay up and wait for them even later. I posted more look at me on vacation pics along with got on the hub and our cruise thread to see what everyone was planning for tmrw. But I think they were already asleep, Once the boys came in I did the same!

Ahoy Mateys

Once on board we learned we would be taken to an area that would have a ship wreck to snorkel around, then we would go to another area to snorkel some more... then do the famous rope swing off the boat!!!

J was already having fun, a few kids from his club were on the same ship as us.

P was enjoying his day also, with his friend.... ugg Im not ready for these years LOL

About 30mins after enjoying a relaxing cruise out to sea we arrived at our 1st destination.

You know who was the 1st in the water out of everyone right....

Nemo Jr was in next.

I rarely get in past my knees (I dont like my drinks to get salt water in them LOL), but thought it would be cool to see the shipwreck.

It was cool for about 10 seconds. But the waters were pretty rough. For every 10kicks I only moved what seemed like an inch... and backwards at that.

Sadly after taking a couple pictures I headed back to the boat, I just kept getting water in my snorkel. That's No Fun! But getting back on the boat came to be an excursion in itself. With the waters so rough it kept pushing us towards the back of the boat. Then I kept letting kids go up before me, since they were struggling also.

Eventually, we all got back on board to head to our next spot. I grabbed a cup of rum punch or 2 and laid out after my swim.

Love it when were cruising together.

Then we came upon our 2nd stop... welcome to my home everyone!

P and his friend jumped off the boat together (hand in hand.. aww LOL) Then he found a pair of ray ban sunglasses. Which we made a joke that they were our friend Loris'... when we were in Punta Cana last year our friend was on a hobby cat and jumped off to swim and lost hers. We were diving for hours trying to find them LOL. Fast forward to back to this trip and they were one of gals from the boat. When she jumped in the glasses came off.

Off he goes again...

This water was much calmer, infact I jumped in and swam around the boat this time.

Once was enough and I came back on the boat before they started the real fun....

Rope Swinging! J was up 1st.

Looks like E tried to do a back flip.

P's turn.

Heck even I took a few swings... not before a few "adjustments" were made as to not lost anything LOL

We took over the boat with our group... literally!

So backing up to Curacao, remember that platform I mentioned that people were jumping off of. Well J and his friends swam out to it and he slipped, thus scratching his arm all up, and bruising his face. It didnt show yesterday, but today it came out in full force. So when we asked him if his face hurt and he said no, we of course told him but its killing us (I know were so kind LOL) anyhow I told him to make a face like it was. But seriously it didnt hurt him, as he was having tons of fun on the rope swing. The belly flops were much more painful Im sure.

Once everyone on ship had done the swing a few times, It was time for lunch as we cruised back to dock.

Food was delish too and it went well with a few more Rum Punches...ok a lot of punches. A girl gets thirsty with all the swiming and swinging.
